LineTrace

Floor plans from any point cloud.

Upload the point cloud you already have and get a LOD100 floor plan with its room book, floor by floor.

For surveyors, scan-to-BIM companies and planners

How it works

A guided process in modules. Each step delivers a result the next one builds on.

  1. 1

    Upload point cloud

    → PointCloud

Upload the point cloud you already have, from any scanner, in metres with z up. Or link a Synoptiscan scan for more detail.

  2. 2

    Floor Plan

    → BIM

Our AI draws the floor plan floor by floor: walls, doors, windows and rooms, with the room book, as DXF, PDF and IFC.

Any point cloud, any scanner

E57, LAS, LAZ, PLY, PTS, XYZ, TXT, CSV or NPY. The points are all it needs: no colour, no panoramas, no scanner positions.

A plan that reads like one

Connected walls, doors with their swing and windows, floor by floor as DXF and PDF, with an IFC model of the building.

The room book included

Every room with its net area, perimeter and clear height, each floor’s totals and its gross floor area, as a CSV.

Priced by floor area, built to integrate

You pay per square metre. An API for scan-to-BIM companies is on its way, so LineTrace can run inside your own pipeline.
