Terms of Service

These Terms form an agreement between Synoptic AG (provider) and the registered user and/or their organisation (customer).

TimberTrace is an AI-powered 3D reconstruction service for building structures from uploaded LiDAR point cloud data. Output is delivered through the web interface, including STL and STEP files.

• Users must register an account and keep credentials confidential.
• Each account is intended for one user or one organisation workspace.
• Synoptic AG may suspend access for violations of these Terms.

• Upload only point clouds of buildings/structures you are authorized to scan and process.
• No illegal content and no reverse engineering of the AI reconstruction pipeline.
• The service is intended for professional and commercial use.

• Fees are charged as displayed at the time of purchase.
• Billing is handled via Stripe.
• Refund policy: no refunds once a reconstruction job has been processed.

• Customers retain ownership of all uploaded files and generated outputs.
• Synoptic AG processes files to operate, secure, improve, and develop the service and related AI models.
• Files may be deleted after account closure as described in the Privacy Policy.

The service is provided "as is". Reconstruction outputs are AI-generated and must be validated by a qualified professional before use in manufacturing or construction.

Synoptic AG is not liable for errors in reconstruction output that are used directly in production, fabrication, or construction without proper professional review.

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Exclusive jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland.

Synoptic AG may update these Terms with at least 30 days' notice sent by email or shown in-product.
